I’m curious if you think that in Europe it’s different. IMHO it’s not, there are more or less lucky people with different starting lines. And guess what, most of them are white. So I think that you are right regarding different starting lines, and it’s at least arguable (if not wrong) narrowing the causes only to the skin color.
